Enterprise DB identified new office space in prestigious Greenwood House in Bracknell. The office was partly fitted out by the landlord, however there was a requirement to put in additional meeting and office facilities, storage wall, flooring, acoustic treatments, power and data infrastructure and a number of design features to be incorporated. The end goal was to have a modern, cleverly designed office offering flexible, agile work areas.
Management entered into discussions with several fit out companies to complete these works. Seamless continuity between the two fit outs was a priority as was the interior design of the space, with a key eye on budget. Cre8tive Space was selected to do the work after demonstrating its ability to carry out the work required to a high standard, for a fair price and coming up with the favoured design.
Using ‘Crittal’ partitions with factory sprayed doors and brass guardsman furniture new meeting and office space was created. These were acoustically treated within the partition as well as above using both vertical sound barriers and horizontal baffles. The open plan office was troublesome from a noise point of view, so new ‘sound rafts’ were installed above the groups of workstations to absorb noise and reduce echo.
The design element of this project was a lot of fun! We were able to incorporate our customers ideas along with our own and their corporate branding to give the space a clear identity. The brand is evident but with a twist and sense of fun. Most of the wall graphics were printed onto vinyl to give a clean, crisp finish. New feature lighting was introduced to give a different feel to areas of the space as well as ‘highlight’ the timber feature wall and main company logo.
Enterprise DB are as thrilled as we are with the completed project! It is a great workspace and we wish them every success for the future in their new Bracknell home.
