What do you do when you take a call from a potential client and they tell you they want the coolest office in Camberley, in fact they want to bring Shoreditch to Camberley? You Cre8te it! Mortgage Gym is a financial services technology start up which launched in September 2017. Through our initial client consultations it quickly became apparent that the founders were looking for something ‘different’. We set about designing the perfect space combining the clients wish list with our design ingenuity, selecting all the right furniture and finishes for the project.
One of the key things Mortgage Gym wanted was a strong brand presence, without just having the logo everywhere. We achieved this by employing a street artist, initially to create the company logo on a newly installed brick slip wall. During the design meeting with the artist a number of other ideas were discussed and it was agreed to give Scott a free hand to create brand presence. We and our client are thrilled with the results. In addition to the original artwork other design features included timber and concrete effect floors, an island unit with drinks fridges and built in usb charging points, feature pendant lights, bespoke recessed tv walls, meeting booths, meeting/hotdesk/presentation area, bench desking and new LED and pendant lighting. The team love the bright, practical yet versatile and flexible working environment.
