Having been recommended Cre8tive Space Limited by a trusted defence connection, the CEO of RUK Advanced Systems contacted us to discuss his plans for a new UK HQ. Having identified the right location and space that could be a fit for the business we worked together to come up with a comprehensive CAT A and CAT B design and build scheme that would fulfil all of the businesses operational and security needs. The existing space was in a very poor state of repair. The requirement was to provide a modern working environment that strongly reflected the business brand and inclusive culture while ensuring all physical and cyber security risks were mitigated.
A state of the art demo room was designed to allow the business to present and showcase it’s products and innovations. This room opens onto a large boardroom with double glass sliding doors so the rooms can be used together for town hall style meetings. Technology built into the environment includes AV systems with Teams integration, access control, CCTV, security alarm systems and as well as energy efficient climate controls to both work areas and a dedicated FSC (LIST X) accredited, classified lab and comms room. All new furniture and seating was supplied and installed throughout.
A number of different working environments have been created which provide the team choice and flexibility to work in a formal office, a lab, a collaboration area, break out space or meeting room depending on their working style and the tasks requirements.
